For matters concerning policy and practice (usually after
class teacher has been contacted) and for any general matters
regarding the school. Although Mrs Chaplin has a full diary she attempts
to run an open door policy and will make every effort to be
available to discuss any matter that is important to parents.
At Staple Hill we never lose sight of the responsibility
and privilege it is to work with children and fully understand
the joys and anxieties that parents experience throughout
their children's education. So please do contact Mrs Chaplin (usually
via Anne Collins) and never let a concern become a crisis!
For any appointments with the headteacher, for general queries
regarding day to day education or concerning arrangements
and timings of any sort including admissions, holidays, other
dates etc. Also for routine clarification of any information
received from the school (or not received - bookbags can work
wonderful disappearing tricks!)
For any serious complaints regarding policy or the professional
practice of the headteacher. Other complaints or queries would
generally come through the classteacher and then to the Head
teacher. For any queries or comments regarding the role of
governors.
