Reception at Staple Hill Primary School, Bristol

We are situated in a separate Foundation Building which consists of nursery and reception classes. There are two reception teachers and one full time teaching assistant.

We follow the foundation stage curriculum covering six main areas - Personal, social and emotional development, communication, language and literacy, mathematical development, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical development and creative development. These are achieved through planned play activities and firsthand experiences.
