We are able to admit children to Nursery once they become three years of age. This will usually be for the year before they are due to attend Primary School. Sometimes, we are able to offer a child a place during they year as they become 3, depending on availability of places.
If you are interested in a Nursery place, you will need to complete a South Gloucestershire Application Form. These can be obtained from the school office and are available form the September of the year prior to your child starting (eg if your child is eligible to start Nursery in September 2008, you need to complete a form in September 2007). Forms need to be in by December 2007. Late applications can be accepted by the school and these people go onto a waiting list once all places have been allocated.
South Gloucestershire’s criteria for admission to Nursery classes is also available in the school office.
If a Nursery class place is offered it will be for 5 sessions a week (5 mornings or 5 afternoons; 9.00 – 11.30 am or 12.40 – 3.10 pm respectively). The place in the Nursery will utilise the full entitlement to the Nursery Education Grant so funding will not be available for any other nursery education provision.
If you would like to find out more or visit the Nursery, please telephone 01454 867240.
