Okay, it's not a trip but this seemed to be a suitable place to put these pictures. Year 5 have been studying Victorian Children. To end our topic we decided to have a Victorian day. The morning was spent having 'Victorian' style lessons, then, during the afternoon the girls were taught sewing and knitting and the boys, woodwork. Interestingly, the girls wanted to be involved in the woodwork but the boys did not want to do the needlecraft! Many thanks to the parents and grandparents who came to help us. Great fun was had by all involved! Here are a few of the pictures we took.
